What this is
Tailest is a free mobile game. By installing it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install it — and uninstall it if you already have.
Account
An account is created automatically on first launch and is tied to the device. You may voluntarily link it to Google or Apple in order to restore progress on another device. You are responsible for keeping access to those external accounts: whoever signs in to them gets access to the tail as well.
You can unlink at any time, including the last link. After that there will be no way to sign in from another device — the game warns you before the action.
Game progress
Tail length, stars, upgrades and the board place are game conventions, not property. They have no monetary value, are not sold or bought, cannot be exchanged for money and are not refundable.
The outcome of every pull is decided by the server. We may change the game balance — odds, prices, league thresholds — when the quality of the game calls for it.
Fair play
You may not interfere with the app or the server, forge requests, use automation instead of playing by hand, exploit bugs for advantage, or put insults, other people's personal data or anything unlawful into your nickname.
For a violation we may reset the result, hide the player from the leaderboard or close access. For a fair player this never happens.
Availability
The game works over the internet: all the maths runs on the server. We do our best to keep it available, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation and may suspend the service for maintenance. The game is provided “as is”.
Termination
You may stop using the game at any time by deleting your account in the settings or through the account deletion page. We may discontinue the service, announcing it in the app in advance as far as possible.
Changes to the terms
A new revision is published at this same address with an updated date. By continuing to play after changes you accept the new revision.
